Sustainability is part of our corporate practice. Social responsibility, or citizenship, is deeply rooted in arvato's corporate culture. It is one of the four Bertelsmann Essentials and thus an integral component of our corporate activities.
For us, corporate responsibility (CR) encompasses more than just social responsibility or citizenship in a narrow sense. arvato views itself as both a member of society and a partner. We seek to act responsibly over the long term − particularly where our company’s value creation and the interests and expectations of our stakeholders converge: in our business environment, in interactions with our employees, in society and in our treatment of the environment. Our civic engagement is shaped by our corporate structure: We carry out decentralized activities on site, throughout our service chain and in areas related to our business endeavors.

arvato Systems Supports the Children’s Wish Foundation
Toronto/Cologne/Gütersloh. arvato Systems became aware of the Children’s Wish Foundation during its many years of close cooperation with major companies in the Canadian broadcasting and media industry. A gala event in May this year will give the IT specialists the opportunity to support the foundation’s cause and, at the same time, treat some of its customers to a very special evening. more

When the »China Best Employer 2012« Awards were presented in Beijing, arvato China was distinguished as one of the country’s ten employers exercising the greatest corporate social responsibility. The award was presented by human resources service provider Zhaopin.com and Peking University’s Corporate Social Responsibility & Employer Branding Center. more
