Nordrhein-Westfalen direct– in the service of the state government
Since 2000, the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia has been demonstrating the great importance it attaches to dialog with its citizens by offering them a service center housed in the State Chancellery. Behind the center’s success: arvato.
In 2009, the Federal state government of NRW began looking for a competent partner to assume responsibility for operation of the NRW direkt service center. Over the telephone or in writing, this center provides citizens with information, tips and answers regarding the entire range of topics handled by the state government. arvato was awarded the contract in a Europewide tendering process. Since then, 16 highly qualified citizen advisors have been working in the service of the minister-president.
