08/03/2013, Gütersloh. arvato Customer Services can now proudly call itself a “Top Employer 2013.” At a ceremony last night in Dusseldorf, Henrik Teipel, Chief of HR at arvato Customer Services, accepted the certificate for 18 of the communication services provider’s service centers in Germany. The “Top Employer” distinction has been awarded since 1991 for outstanding achievements in the field of HR management and strategy. It is administered by the CRF Institute, which currently operates Top Employer projects in 45 countries around the world to commend exemplary HR management. arvato Customer Services is in good company as a Top Employer 2013. This year, the list includes companies such as Dell, Deutsche Postbank, E.ON, Henkel, Nestlé Germany, Vodafone and Xerox.

Therefore we are constantly working to create a motivating work environment and systematically train our workforce. The Top Employer distinction is awarded annually based on an audited, fact-based certification process. As part of a comprehensive information-gathering process, candidates need to explain in detail what offerings they make available to their employees in key areas of modern HR management, such as staff development, talent management, career development and work-life balance. The results of this survey are formally reviewed by the CRF Institute, after which the companies are certified by the auditing and tax consulting firm Grant Thornton.
