Facebook and Arvato Continue Their Successful Collaboration
- Berlin team to comprise 1000 content moderators
- High training and management standards further enhanced

Gütersloh/Berlin – Facebook will continue to rely on Arvato’s professional support in its content moderation. Under a new contract, the companies have now agreed to continue and extend their existing cooperation long-term. At the Arvato site in Berlin, the number of employees will be increased from 700 to over 1,000 in the medium term. The Arvato teams will continue to work for the Community Operations team in close coordination with Facebook’s international headquarters in Dublin.
The work of the Arvato staff ensures that reported content is monitored, and that the Facebook community standards are consistently and effectively applied.
Arvato has provided content moderation services for Facebook since August 2015. High training and management standards ensure that all employees who work in this area receive the necessary support, whether through processes that allow rapid escalation in the case of difficult decisions, or through psychological assistance and support. In addition, the experiences and learning processes that the two companies have made in the past will be incorporated into the further development of the future partnership.
