Hanhaa and Arvato SCM Solutions make parcels intelligent and self-aware of their surroundings
In collaboration with Hanhaa and Intel the service „Parcelive“ was created. Parcelive is a low cost service which provides complete insight in a parcels journey. Arvato SCM Solutions does the fulfillment out of the warehouse in Halle shipping „Parcelive“ trackers to different customers within Europe. The customers will add Parcelive to their shipments and then can track their parcels in real time no matter of which carrier is used.
Throughout that service the customer also gets alerts e.g if their parcels have been dropped, been in a place to long or exposed to heat or humididty. This can of course be adjusted to the customers specific needs. The receiver also has the possibility to plan their days and make sure that they will be at home or in the store when the parcel will arrive. For return the customer pushes a button and can post the tracker back to Arvato SCM Solutions where it will be refurbed for it's next jouney – simple.
