O2 and Arvato serivces agree on strategic partnership in customer service
Munich/Gütersloh, 24. November 2010 - As a strategic partner Arvato services will operate the Telefónica O2 Germany service centres in Teltow, Saarbrücken and Duisburg. A corresponding contract has been signed by both parties today. As part of the integration of HanseNet, O2 is going to focus on its customer service locations in Nuremberg, Hamburg, Bremen and Rostock in the future.
In Arvato services, O2 was able to find a partner that is known for its high quality standard in terms of customer support and to which corporate social responsibility is highly important. Operations of the services centres and about 650 employees will be transferred to Arvato services in the beginning of January (Saarbrücken and Duisburg) and the beginning of February (Teltow) respectively. Arvato will then take over their duties on behalf of O2.
