In addition to delivering £26.5 million in cost savings through the transformation of processes, Arvato’s innovative partnership with Slough Borough Council has created a vision of a public sector service as a catalyst for bringing new business and employment opportunities into the region.
The partnership is jointly developing a shared service centre to handle transactions for the Council and seek to identify and secure additional new business from public and private organisations.
Ensuring an empowered workforce from the start, including over 100 TUPE-transferred staff undergoing Lean Six Sigma training during the first two months, has enabled the identification of more than 100 areas for improvement.
