arvato’s bespoke loyalty platform is fuelling the transformation of Valero Energy’s Texaco branded Star Rewards loyalty programme.
Launched as Star Club back in 1986, in the format of sticky stars, Star Rewards is now a card-based loyalty scheme that processes customer rewards earned in over one million transactions a month across 825 Texaco branded service stations in the UK.
The Arvato platform acts as a central hub for promotions, targeted campaign management, customer segmentation, analytics and fulfilment. The intuitive front-end enables customer service agents to effectively deal with programme members’ enquiries.
The collaborative partnership – involving Texaco stakeholders in technology development from the outset – has successfully migrated 400,000 programme members.
