Arvato and Sefton partnership wins national award for demonstrating that ‘Outsourcing Works’
Arvato UK & Ireland’s public-private-partnership with Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council (Sefton) received the ‘Outsourcing Works Award for Delivering Business Value in Outsourcing’ at the National Outsourcing Association (NOA) Awards, held in London on 25th October 2012.
The ten year partnership beat strong competition from both private and public sector partnerships to win the inaugural Outsourcing Works award. It was praised for delivering significant benefits beyond its original objectives by working collaboratively with employees, citizens and third parties to increase efficiencies and generate additional income for the Council while continually improving priority services.
arvato’s partnership with Sefton, now in its fifth year, covers a wide range of services, including customer services, revenues and benefits, payroll, pensions, transactional HR, accounts payable, ICT and transformation and change. Approximately 450 Council employees TUPE transferred to Arvato in 2008.
“We’re really proud that this partnership is being held up as a national example of how outsourcing can deliver real value,” said Matthias Mierisch, CEO and Chairman, Arvato UK & Ireland. “The award is a great recognition of the true partnership that exists between Sefton and Arvato and the hard work of the team.”
