Arvato in Canada celebrates 10th anniversary
Kitchener. Arvato employees in the city of Kitchener, Canada, have a good reason to celebrate this summer. Because in this city of 200,000 inhabitants, southeast of Toronto, Arvato has operated a service center for exactly the past 10 years. The center delivers customer service solutions for well-known companies in the high-tech, ecommerce, airline and finance sectors.
The Kitchener site was opened in 2003 in conjunction with other offices in North America such as Monterrey, Mexico, Weaverville, NC and Yakima, WA. Initially, Arvato had 150 employees at the Kitchener site. Today, around 300 employees are contributing to the success of the business here, making it the largest Arvato site in North America. In the first year alone, the company was selected as one of the top 100 employers in the Kitchener-Waterloo region. Over time, many other awards were to follow. In the past 10 years, the Kitchener site has acquired many satisfied customers by being at the forefront of numerous pilot projects. From this, a number of unique customer relationship management and database tools have been created, which have made customer service delivery more efficient and cost effective. In 2011, Arvato in Kitchener was certified by COPC Inc. – a global consulting, training and certification company – for its achievements in customer service.
