Arvato thought leadership campaign wins industry prize
The campaign, which won in the category ‘Best Contribution to the Reputation of Outsourcing’, is centred around a series of reports by Arvato that explore some of the most complex topics in the outsourcing industry.
Arvato created Open Outsourcing to share best practice, improve media and public perceptions and demonstrate the value that outsourcing delivers, both in the private and public sectors.
It was commended by the judges for taking an innovative approach to exploring some of the sector’s key themes, by featuring client success stories and commissioning independent research to share a real-world perspective on outsourcing partnerships.
The second issue of Open Outsourcing, ‘Enabling Growth’, was published in September 2013 and focuses on how outsourcing partners can help their clients create efficiencies and achieve growth. It featured interviews and case studies from some of Arvato’s key clients, alongside independent research and expert commentary, including Deloitte, NelsonHall and the NOA.
Matthias Mierisch, CEO and Chairman, Arvato UK & Ireland, said: “To be recognised as a thought leader among our peers is a real honour, and proof of the positive contribution Arvato is making to challenge public perceptions and develop the reputation our industry truly deserves.”
Now in its tenth year, the NOA Awards recognise outstanding projects, partnerships and destinations in the outsourcing industry.
Kerry Hallard, Director, NOA, added: “2013 is a monumental year for the NOAs, and yet again we saw a growing number of submissions, all of outstanding quality. The shortlist represents the best of the best in outsourcing, and I am extremely proud to see that so many organisations clearly value the positive association of participation. We’d like to congratulate all of our winners.”
It is the third consecutive year that Arvato has been successful at the NOA Awards. In 2012, Arvato’s public-private partnership with Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council received the inaugural ‘Outsourcing Works Award for Delivering Business Value in Outsourcing’. This followed winning ‘Public Sector Outsourcing Project of the Year in 2011’ for the company’s 10-year agreement with Chesterfield Borough Council.
As well as winning Best Contribution to the Reputation of Outsourcing, Arvato was shortlisted in the Outsourcing Provider of the Year category. Earlier this year, Arvato won ‘Skills Development Programme of the Year’ at the NOA’s Outsourcing Professional Awards.
