Arvato at the 31st German Logistics Congress
From October 22 to 24, domestic and international logistics experts will convene in the German capital to discuss the latest developments in the industry and cultivate their business networks. The Congress offers companies an ideal setting for presenting their specific logistics solutions to a professional audience.
The experts at Arvato systems and Arvato SCM Solutions will be available for background talks on all three days of the congress, at the Arvato Sports Lounge, Pavilion Terrace East at the Hotel Intercontinental. Participants are welcome to join them for stimulating discussions in the relaxed atmosphere of the Arvato Sports Lounge, where they will also host an after-work event for conference visitors on Thursday, October 23, from 5:00 pm.
As a global IT systems integrator, Arvato Systems is showcasing its software solutions for logistics processes. They include the "Supply Chain Control Center" and the "Picking Productivity Management System" for monitoring and benchmarking the supply chain; best4log-x software in the area of transportation management systems (TMS); the Optimizer PSO 2.0 for improving picking processes; and Assessment 2020, which allows for reviewing the sustainability of logistics concepts and identifying any need for action.
Arvato SCM Solutions is focusing on two aspects this year: First, the Corporate Information Management Division will exhibit its wide range of services comprising the creation, acquisition and distribution of physical and digital information and goods for businesses. Particular attention is paid here to the fast-growing Digital Signage and Connected Car sectors. Second, logistics services for the healthcare sector will be highlighted, in particular the direct supply of medical devices and products to doctors’ offices and clinics.
The German Logistics Congress has become the most important annual event logistics in Europe. It is now being held for the 31st time; the number of exhibitors has increased tenfold since its inception and is now at approximately 200. Each year, more and more guests from outside Germany attend to benefit from the exchange of knowledge and the opportunities for networking and communication at the Congress.
