Arvato Systems donates for young people in problem neighbourhoods
Employees support Cologne’s ‘Turn 180°’ initiative to kick off the New Year.
The award-winning network project ‘Turn 180°’ is a Cologne-based initiative. It supports young people who are facing problems in the neighbourhoods of the cathedral city, with factors such as unemployment, drugs and crime. Mimoun Berrissoun, project leader and initiator, explains: “The benefits and strengths of our project mainly lie in the fact that it originates from adolescents and young adults: They co-developed it and carry it close to their hearts.”
The employees of Arvato Systems in Cologne are convinced of this approach and support the network of multipliers with a check in the amount of €2,960. The project has already won an award from the place-branding ‘Germany – Land of Ideas’ initiative. The underlying motto is ‘One City, Ten Coaches, and 100 Multipliers.’
