Arvato opens a new service center in Lisbon
arvato’s new service center sets the stage for successful customer relationship management on the Iberian peninsula. A staff of over 110 is already providing customer service on behalf of an international company in the IT sector and this number is set to grow as soon as possible.
Daniel Seemann, Arvato's Head of Customer Management, highlighted the strategic importance of the Portuguese capital: “Lisbon is the perfect addition to our current CRM platforms for our global customers. While the local infrastructure and general level of education are on par with high European standards, the costs are extremely competitive by global comparison.”
According to project manager Jan-Malte Vogelsmeier, “setting up the office and getting the business up and running actually only took three months.” In only five weeks, 17,480 meters of cable were laid and 700 square meters of plasterboard walls installed, while 274 work stations were set up and equipped. “Setting up this office has already opened up some attractive new business opportunities,” confirm Alexander Weihe, CEO of Arvato Iberia, and Iñigo Arribalzaga, Arvato Iberia's CRM Solutions Director.
