Media and entertainment grand slam
"We are naturally both proud and delighted that yet another large, demanding customer within the media sector has chosen Arvato," says Arvato Norway’s CEO Karl Otto Aam.
The cooperation covers the entire 'order-to-cash process' for the group's companies in Norway. Deliverables include invoice distribution, payment administration and debt collection services, as well as customer service for invoicing and payment enquiries for all of Schibsteds companies. The only exception is the subscription customers.
Innovation and increased efficiency
Schibsted was looking for a partner able to streamline its payment processes and improve liquidity, whilst maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. What tipped the scales in Arvato's favour was the focus on digitalisation, technology and innovation - not to mention the excellent references.
"We are convinced that Arvato will be an excellent partner for Schibsted, capable of supporting Schibsted in meeting their customers with smart products and solutions. The most exciting element of the partnership will be how we can create new digital solutions through data-driven development and business intelligence together," says Aam.
The Schibsted companies in Norway have an extensive customer base, many of them within subscription. The group will gain daily updates on invoices and payment flow for the entire group with the solution, which was developed with Arvato.
Arvato's 'innovation machine' is their finance-technical and business intelligence division based in Oslo, the result of the acquisition of Aktiv Kapital and the Gothia Financial Group. This division has grown considerably, and now has a presence in several other countries.
Arvato is an all-round supplier with a range of products and services throughout the value chain, with strategic focus on product development, technology and innovation. The AfterPay invoicing and payment solution has been identified as a strategic focus area for the future.
"Our systems and services are exported well beyond Norway's borders, and our technology is used in Arvato's own global operations, with over 10,000 customers and activities in more than 22 countries. That's inspirational," says Aam.
