Peek & Cloppenburg offers attractive career prospects: Partnership launched with careerloft
Gero Hesse, founder of careerloft, is optimistic about the career network’s future cooperation with P&C: “Our new partnership will enable careerloft to now additionally reach university graduates with an interest in fashion. We will be able to demonstrate the range of excellent options that a modern fashion company has to offer to those just starting their career.”
By now, over 30,000 young professionals use careerloft to exchange experiences with attractive employers and to network for the purpose of their career development and orientation. Whether during online events, at the Berlin Loft or at the P&C headquarters in Düsseldorf, careerloft members are able to communicate on equal terms with the fashion giant’s specialists and executives while getting to know their working environment.
An ideal way to experience this environment first-hand is by taking an internship. In 2014, the fashion company offers about 160 internships. And careerloft is helping to identify suitable candidates. P&C also offers graduates several entry-level programs in the divisions of fashion management, general management and junior traineeships for the time following their university studies.
“A major factor in a company’s success is its employees,” says Leyla Samadi, Project Manager for Employer Branding and Personnel Marketing. “As a family company, P&C practices a flat hierarchy. This enables gifted young professionals to quickly start their career and assume responsibility at an early stage,” explains Samadi, who is also in charge of recruiting interns.
She sees major benefits for the company in its partnership with careerloft: “The partnership with the network perfectly complements the company’s search for suitable young professionals. We look forward to interacting with young, motivated students and graduates.”
The company, which has an excellent reputation as an employer, has grown steadily throughout its more than 110-year history and is now active across Europe. P&C’s partnership with careerloft is sending an important message in the field of employer marketing within the fashion industry.
