This year, the choice is between the following projects:
Medicine helps Refugees (Medizin hilft Flüchtlingen) is a group of doctors and nurses from various areas, who volontarily support the improvement of medical care for refugees. At the moment, the group takes care of 2.300 refugees at four different locations within Berlin as well as further 800 persons from nearby facilities. As most of the refugees do not own any health insurance certificate, they would stay unattended without the team's medical help. Coordinating and financing the complete first care of this people, Medicine helps Refugees was already able to provide 300 important vaccinations. Additionally, medical appointments are being offered in regular periods. This donation could help to finance needed medicine and new equipment.
