New Head of Solution Group Digital Marketing - Arvato hires Google manager
Jens Monsees will take over as Head of the Arvato Solution Group Digital Marketing on October 1. He has a degree in business administration and will be joining us from Internet giant Google, where he was most recently responsible for the Automotive, Consumer Goods and Healthcare divisions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In his new position he will report directly to Arvato CEO Achim Berg.

"With Jens Monsees, a proven expert will be taking over the helm at the Solution Group Digital Marketing. For many years now, he has been focusing on the digital transformation of previously analog business processes and is distinguished by extensive expertise in all matters digital, longstanding management experience and outstanding innovativeness.
After studying business administration in Kiel and Rotterdam with a focus on international brand management and innovation management, Monsees began his career in 1993 as Brand Manager at Kraft Jacobs Suchard in Bremen. In 1999, he moved to Düsseldorf to join Henkel KGaA, where he worked in international brand management for four years and was assigned the task of managing various brands in different countries. From 2003 to 2008 he worked for the BMW Group in Munich, where his responsibilities included the international communications strategy for the MINI brand, and in this capacity, the international launch of the MINI Cabrio. Monsees started working in the management of Google Deutschland in 2008, taking on the job of Head of Consumer Goods, Food Retailing and Pharmaceutical Industry. Since mid-2011, he has had overall responsibility for the Automotive division in the areas of OEMs, online distributors and parts, and services.
