The opening of the Medical Service Centre in Berlin
Arvato is making further investment in its healthcare businesses. Mario Czaja, city senator for health and social policy, together with Arvato CEO, Oliver Carlsen, opened a new Service Centre in the Siemensstadt locality in Berlin. 50 employees will be carrying out numerous services specially for the health market there.
All the healthcare businesses will be pooled together at this new location. All services for patient programmes that were previously carried out from several small locations will now be integrated in the new location. What’s so special is that the Arvato people employed at the Medical Service Centre have had excellent training in their communication tasks. Their specialist medical knowledge makes them capable contact people for issues in the health market as well as for supporting doctors, pharmacists and patients.
The Berlin health location
“Berlin is the ideal location for our healthcare businesses”, says Dr med. Jens Härtel, member of the management and responsible for the activities in the health market, about the new premises. “We are not just close to our pharmaceutical customers here, many of whom also operate from locations in Berlin. There are also a large number of qualified employees in Berlin, who can support our businesses with a view to their growth prospects.”
Arvato wants to develop its services in prevention and care. Customers are pharmaceutical companies, health insurance funds or companies that want to establish or develop workplace health promotion programmes for their employees. To do this, Arvato analyses and optimises all the relevant processes as a neutral partner company.
A full range of prevention and care services In the care management programme, health insurance funds are supported in their medication management. Patients are helped to carry out therapies as prescribed by a doctor and, that way, to avoid any consequential damage in the short and long term. In the prevention area, Arvato offers a programme for workplace health promotion that consists of an innovative Preventiometer for extensive and time-saving health check-ups, a personal coaching service and an integrated Health Cockpit including an app.
Oliver Carlsen, President at Arvato CRM Solution, is also looking forward to the new premises. “We have found a location in the Siemensstadt that provides the best conditions for a modern Service Centre. Rooms that are flooded with light offer an agreeable atmosphere for our employees. A flexible allocation of space also enables the installation of Closed Shops – specifically separated areas with secured access. This way we meet the demands of our customers for strict data protection principles.”
